Vacation Bible School 2011

EXPLORING GOD'S LOVE was the theme of the recent Vacation Bible School held at the Presbyterian Church in Cardinal from July 13-15, 2011.

Over the course of three mornings, 18 children, along with young adult helpers and adult leaders, gathered at the beach on “Sonlight Island” and participated in a variety of activities including singing, games, crafts and Biblical stories.

Together everyone discovered the joy of living in the warmth of God’s Love.

3rd Annual Neighbourhood BBQ - July 9th, 2011

The weather was pretty good this year so the turnout for the BBQ was fantastic. The guys working the BBQ's cooked up close to 100 hamburgers, hotdogs and sausages with lots of fried onions to go with them. The Howard Family performed and as always, their music and singing was a huge hit with the crowd! We had the bouncy castle again this year so the kids had a lot of fun jumping around in it. All in all, it was a great day for everyone.
